Applicants to the PharmD program must hold a Bachelors degree in pharmacy or equivalent and current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of BC or hold registration (qualifying examination) with the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada.
Applicants must have also earned at least 80% in 12 credits of coursework and an overall average of 74% in the remaining coursework in the last two years of the applicant's undergraduate pharmacy program.
Other criteria considered in the selection process for admission to the PharmD program include professional pharmacy practice experience or residency training, letters of reference, a written statement of professional and career goals, and interview information.
