Can you provide me with the list of prohibited items inside the visa section at the time of attending student visa interview for the United States?

All battery operated or electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, digital diaries, digital watches, pagers, cameras, audio/video cassettes, audio/video recording devices, compact discs, MP3?s, floppies, laptops, palm tops or portable music players; All ladies hand bags and purses (Only a small ladies pouch in hand will be permitted); All bags such as travel bags, back packs, briefcases, suitcases, leather bags, jute bags or cloth bags and zip folders (Only a plastic bag containing your application related papers will be permitted); Any food item; Sealed envelopes or packages; Cigarettes, cigars, match boxes and lighters; Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives or nail files; Weapons or explosive material of any kind; Bottles of any kind are the major items that are not allowed inside the visa section. This list is not exclusive. Other items may be prohibited based on the discretion of the security staff.
