For pursuing a course of Masters in Surgery from Australia you will have to first get yourself registered with Australian Medical Council (AMC) to practise. Their website is www.amc.org.au and it's the mandatory requirement to clear it and then only you can go for any clinical course at a postgraduate level. As AMC is not very easy to clear and there is an entrance exam as well I would recommend that you can also keep options open for non- clinical courses like public health, health administration and all. The duration of these courses is 1.5-2 years and work experience is not the mandatory requirement but is preferred.
