The chemistry book by V Ahluwalia and AK Ghosh can certainly be helpful for engineering entrance.

2 P. Bahadur Physical Chemistry Recommended for Physical Chemistry
3 Arihant Prakashan Organic Chemistry Recommended for Organic Chemistry, but one has to be careful as it contains several errors.
4 O.P. Agarwal IIT Chemistry Recommended for Inorganic Chemistry and reference book in general.
5 Ebbing General Chemistry Reference Book
6 J.D. Lee Concise Inorganic Chemistry Reference Book
7 R.T. Morrison, R.N. Boyd Organic Chemistry Reference Book

Dear Sirs,
My ward took up Biology, Physics and Chemistry after passing class-X with the idea of pursuing MBBS. Since she did not get seat anywhere, now she wants to go for engineering courses. In class-X she got 95% marks in Mathematics, but in class XI and XII there was no Maths. subject, as she took Biology.
Can you suggest if any such institute is there in India which offers engineering courses for such candidates, even if it entails one extra year of reading?

I am presently in class XII.I secured 78% in my class X examinations.I have opted science stream in which my subjects include physics, chemistry, mathematics, english & multimedia(computers).I have a very keen interest in computers & I am very good at mathematics & english. But I am very weak in chemistry & physics. I want to go to a good government institute of India. But I know that it is very difficult for me to do so because of the cut throat competition & huge labour required. I want to get successful in my life but how to do so is a miliion dollar question for me.Kindly give me all the information regarding the competitive examinations for which I should appear for my higher education & all the related stuff.I will be highly oblidged. If a student has passed graduation but didn't class XII will he/she be considered as a graduate ?
(Description as:
1.student has valid degree of engg from aicte approved college . 2. and perhaps not cleared xii 3.has few month work ex )
