Dear Sir/Madam I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession .After woring for two years in industries I joined masters program(M.S) at IITkgp . Presently I am a PhD scholar of IITkgp and also woring in a design company . My future aim is work as an entrepreneur . Though it is not mandary to hold an MBA to work out the same but the life at top B-schools make one to be accustomed with cutting edge realities as far as my knowledge is concerned . I want write CAT and get into one of the top notch B-Schools . Could you please tell me whether the B-Schools encouarge the phD people to be part of their academic program . Because the most of the management institutes have filled up with graduates . How can I make my intention clear to them if I get stuck up with over qualification . Regards SaugataDuttaRoy

You can appear for the CAT exam. You will not face any problem because of your higher academic background.
