Australia - MBA

  • Hello Sir; I had already posted some queries here and got their response, but i want to be clear on this issue. I did my schooling in AbuDhabi (UAE) and now i am studying in Kerala under M.G. University in a reknowned college for B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Presently getting on to my third year. When i asked abt an MBA without experience, the reply was that it was good to have experience in the field and then to get an MBA. But i am afraid i will not be able to or loose my interest in studyinf if I take over a job. So is it that an MBA directly after B.tech without experience is useless or valueless? Also tell me which field in MBA is apt for me. I mean there are MBAs in IT,HR,Marketing ets... ryte? i want to know which one is what and which will benefit me. Also tell me the ways to get into a university in Australia for MBA i.e if there are merit admissions or not and also how much will it cost for the full course. Looking forward to your reply

The Master's in Business Administration is one of the most sought after degrees in the world. The degree originated in the great capitalist country, USA and has now spread its wings far across the entire world. The course brings knowledge, experience, value and above all a good take off point to a career. The concept of management went through another major change when it was started applying to as varied institutions as the hospital, the university, the community centre, the church, the government. Every institution is now in the ambit of management which in effect would mean the entire society. To get admission in MBA you need to have a minimum of 2 years full time work experience after graduation. If you do not have any work experience then you go for a general MBA. There are a lot of universities providing MBA like Deakin, Grifith, La trobe, Melbourne Business School, Monash University, etc and many more. The duration of the course is around 1.5-2 years and the major intakes are in February and July. An IELTS of overall 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0) will be the mandatory requirement by the Australian Visa High Commission. MBA IN AUSTRALIA.
