  • Hi,
    One of my friend has just passed out MSc in Analytical Chemistry. I would like to know if she want to continue studies what are different diplomas available for her? And if she don't want to continue studies what all are the different Job profiles available for her ?

    After completing your M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, you can pursue course in M.Phil or Post graduate diploma in Analytical Chemistry. You can do these courses from University of Madras, University of Gujarat, Course Name: M.Phil. (Chemistry) Course Type: Grant in Aid Intake: 25 Eligibility: M.Sc. (Chemistry) Subject offered/Specialization: Analytical / Inorganic / Organic / Physical Duration: 1 yrs Course Commencement: June Selection process: By merit and Interview Fees: Rs. 2115/- per term Subject offered: Analytical / Inorganic / Organic / Physical Placement/Future Career Opportunity : Faculties in Colleges & Universities, Research Institute and industries. Regarding job opportunities, Analytical chemists are employed in every part of the chemical, pharmaceutical and bio pharmaceutical, food, and waste management industries, as well as in government and private consulting labs, and with vendors of chemical instrumentation. It would be better to go for Ph.D courses in Analytical Chemistry rather then going for diplomas since she has completed Masters.
