HI SIR/MADA:I'M STUDYING DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING.CAN I JOIN A DEGREE COURSE IN ANIMATION OR MULTIMEDIA IN IIT.ACTUALLY I CAN JOIN B.E. DIRECTLY TO 2ND YEAR.LIKE THIS ,CAN I JOIN ANY DEGREE COURSES IN MULTIMEDIA OR ANIMATION OR ORIENTED FIELDS?

Lateral entry to second year of engineering is not available for diploma holders in IIT's unlike many other engineering colleges in India where diploma students can get admission to second year of engineering. These students have to take admission to first year of engineering after competing IIT-JEE. Moreover IIT doesn't conducts B.Tech in animation or multimedia.
