Hi Sir/Ma'm, I scored 610 in Quant and 350 in verbal in GRE. and waiting for her AWA score. My current profile 10th - 84% (CBSE). 12th - 74% (Karnataka board). BE - Computer Science with aggregate 72% I have 2 years of experience as a network and telecom engineer in Satyam Computer Services ltd. I am interested in pursuing MS with thesis. Will this score help me anyway, also is it practical enough to take GRE again in Dec 2008 (as exam slots are available only in Dec 08) opting for admission in fall 2009. Can i manage to get the scores in time? Thank You Regards, Susheba

We would suggest you to re-take GRE with 960 you will not be able to target any popular universities or mediocre universities.
Yes you can take GRE in December in this case you can target universities which have deadlines in January till April. you will receive score in 3-4 weeks.

m planning to do ms in cs....my gre score is 1330.....awa is 3....how much role does awa play in addmission process????is that they see only quant score or both verbal and quant score for ms in cs addmission????my quant score is 750 and verbal score is 580.....in which of the following univ i may get addmission....

I wrote my GRE 3 times. Quoting in descending order 1100 (680- Quant , 420 - Verbal, AWA - 3.5 ) - Sep 2008; 1180 (650- Quant , 530 - Verbal, AWA - 4 ) - Sep 2007; 1150 (750- Quant , 400 - Verbal, AWA - 3.5 ) - Jan 2006; TOEFL ( Awaiting score, expecting > 90) My GPA would be between 3.0 - 3.2 ( 77.7% M.G University, Kottayam, Kerala). I will be having 3 years of work experience in the Software firm by next July( Java, Jsp, J2EE, Oracle, Unix). My 10th marks are - 85% ; My 12th marks are - 82.5%; what are my chances of getting into a good university with my GPA, GRE score and Work Ex. I would also like to know which of my GRE score would be considered while selecting a student? The universities that I have in mind are : 1) University of Delware 2) University of Buffalo - SUNY 3) Drexel University 4) University of Massachusetts - Amherst 5) Arizona State University 6)University of Maryland - College Park ( Dream) 7) North Carolina State University 8)Illinois Institue of Technology Please let me know in which all i have a chance of getting through and also other universities not mentioned in the list that i would be able to apply to. My gre score is 1310...quant 800 verbal 510...My AWA score is 4.0 i am doing btech in mechanical engg from VIT university and my cgpa is 8.22 my area of interests is robotics but chiefly i want to do MS in mechanical engg.. can you guide me with the list of colleges which relate to my profile commensurated with GRE score and CGPA....please tel me the dream univ, realistic bets and safe bets for my profile...
