United States - Science and Engineering

  • Hi, well, I actually wanted to do my MS in US. And for my academic details, i did my B.E. at Karunya University in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. I scored a GPA of 6.7. And i wanted to say that I'm not the kind of guy who am reserved to electronics alone for continuing my masters. So, kindly consider all these additional info and please send in the requested reply soon. Thank You.

Hello Joseph, First of all you will need to appear for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). This exam requires around three months of practice. For more information you can follow the link http://www.studyplaces.com/testcenter/test-detail/GRE To assess the current strength of your Math and Verbal skills, try one of our sample GRE tests. This will give you an indication of your curent standing and help you assess your preparation time. http://www.studyplaces.com/testcenter/sample-test/GRE You will also have to appear for the TOEFL examination http://www.studyplaces.com/testcenter/test-detail/TOEFL. This exam is much simpler compared to the GRE and about a week's practice is more than enough. The other documents which you need to prepare are 1) Statement of Purpose 2) Trancripts of undergraduate study 3) 3 letters of recommendation 4) Certificates from extra curricular activities(if any) The masters programs that you could look at are MS in Electrical Engineering, MS in Engineering Management, MS in Operations Researach, MS in Information Systems. Alternatively if you could tell us more about your academic interests, work experience and extra curricular activities we would be well placed to guide you through the application process and suggest the program and universities which would be a good fit for you. All the best, Studyplace.com, US studies Counsellor.
