How many effective hours can I afford to put in to study for CAT exam to enter into the IIM s ? I am also working ina corporate environment where I have to work for nearly 10 hours a day , How can i manage my time ?

The study hour for the preparation of CAT exam are different for every student and depends upon the IQ level of student. Normally you should devote at least 8 to 10 hour for CAT preparation on daily basis. So should adjust your study time according to your job timing. You can also join any coaching centre to gain more knowledge in short time period.
