India - Computers and Information Technology

  • I am 2008 graduate of Computer Science. I have been recruited by Wipro but the joining date is yet to come. For the time being I am working as a trainee in Omnesys India. I want to pursue higher studies. Either MS or MTech. I am really not interested in Management Studies. I initially thought of giving the GRE, But my parents and some friends advised to try in Indian Universities. My question to you is that whether an MTech in an IIT or an NIT is equivalent to the level of education that I will get by doing an MS in a foreign university

The standard of education for the M.tech programmes in IIT's and NIT's is very good and Teaching & Training standard of these institutes place them among the top Engineering institutes of world. So You can join IIT's for your M.tech program.
