i am a 2nd year engg student in comp science branch. though i do like programming at the moment, i do not have intentions of taking up an IT job for long-time concerns. So i would like to get my masters in engineering or master of information management systems in a good college in US. initially though i had aspirations of getting an MBA, the compulsory 3 yr work experience makes it hard for me to get out of the study track for 3 yrs and again get back to student mode. i am not confident that i will get back to education once i start earning so would like to extend my masters as soon as i finish engineering. i have heard that masters degree does not require much of work experience, hence its easier for me to get into this course. can u please correct me if im wrong and give me information regarding various colleges offering the course in US?

Hi Apoorva,
The MIS program does ot require work ex, though I must add that having work does boost your profile. However all MIS colleges accept a large number students without any work experience. THe good colleges for MIS are
1)Carnegie Mellon University
2) Texas A & M University College Station
3) Syracuse University
4)University of California at Berkeley
5) Kelley school of business Indiana University
6) University of Maryland at collee park
7) University of Arizona at Tuscon
8) University of Cincinatti
