Sir/Madam,
I am pursuing M.Sc.(Computer Science) from Sikkim Manipal University through Distance Learning. The University is approved by UGC and Distance Education Council DEC and claims that it doesn't require AICTE approval for Distance Learning courses. Is AICTE approval reqd. for Distance Learning M.Sc.(CS)? After completion of this PG Degree will I be eligible to appear for NET exam for Lectureship conducted by UGC? The assessment pattern of Sikkim Manipal is theory papers which include 100% MCQ with -ve marking system and assignments without any practicals. Please guide me.
Thanx and regards.

I have heard about ICFAI but also heard that its very tough for the working people to complete. Symbi is another option but not sure if it is worth. Please guide. Also, if you there are any better international universities, then also guide.
