  • I am currently pursuing B. Tech. in Biotechnology and will be completing it by the year 2010. I am interested in doing M. Tech. in Biotechnology from UK. What is the exact procedure to gain entrance in a university for M. Tech.? Also tell me about the tests i'll have to take (like GRE, etc.) for entrance to universities of UK? Also guide me about the Universities which offer this course.

    Masters in Biotechnology is one year duration in UK. In UK, there is no M.Tech in Biotechnology; you can look for MSc Biotechnology. Depending on your previous academics, you can look for Masters in Biotechnology from Oxford Brookes University, Northumbria University, University of Kent, University of Salford, University of Manchester etc. For more details: Masters in Biotechnology in UK. You need to have a good Bachelors degree with IELTS 6.5/7.0 bands. NO GRE score is requires for admission to Masters in Biotechnology. For admission to Masters in biotechnology, you need to fill application form of the concern university(Form can be down loaded from University website),along with that you need to submit all academics, 2 Recommendation letters from teacher/lecturer(lor) & Statement of Purpose(SOP) & need to submit it to International office of concern University.
