I am doing M.Tech(Nanotechnology) final year from India. I want to pursue my research in Nanotechnology from abroad. do I have to clear the GRE exam for that and in which universities i can apply.
My M.Tech will be complete in june 2009. How can i apply.
please suggest.

For admission to PhD,you need to submit your thesis(based on Masters degree),all academic documents & synopsis & need to submit it to International office of concern University.Depending on your academics,university will issue you acceptance letter.
you need to give only IELTS exam.No GRE is required.

i am in last year of m.tech nanotechnology doing from india. my submission of thesis of last semester will be in may 2008, but my viva for the same will be in aug2008, can i apply for p.hd degree in nanotechnology field in august2008 session. i had given TOEFL having score 98/120, and giving GRE in march,2008.

1Does IITbombay offers M.tech in nanotechnology. I didnt found about any such courses offered by it but it was referred by you in nanotechnology institutes. what is its elegibility criteria?

sir,i am an Indian,doing final year b.Sc. microbiology.i wish to pursue my masters in nanaoscience and technology or bio nanotechnology in top(best) universities in abroad especially in u.k. or u.s.a. i don't know whether i am eligible to do the above mentioned course,as i am doing my bachelor's in microbiology(a 3 year studies).please,clarify my doubts in this regards and help me in choosing the best university.
