I am leaving to NZ next week to pursue my bachelors degree in nursing..The valid suggections from study places helped me a lot in knowing about NZ colleges and for applying visa...I am obliged to u and would like to clear my following doubts..
1) Can international students get free medical treatment in case of diseases like feaver,cold etc while in NZ..??
2) I dont had a telephonic interview for getting NZ study visa..why..??
3) What is the scope of nursing profession in NZ after 3 years..??
4) Finally as an education provider what sugection u want to give me regarding my academic nursing studies..??

I will answer all your questions: 1) If you have taken overseas health cover which is for international students then you can get your self treated for free for these basic symtoms. As far as some major diseases are concerned you are not covered for them and needs to pay for the same. 2) Your file must be very clear to New Zealand Immigration Service and they must have not found it necessary to conduct an interview. This is not at all a matter of concern rather you should be happy. 3) Nursing is in skills shortage in NZ and hence it's in a lot of demand and you will have good employment options later. 4) Don't forget that you are going there for studies and you need to give your best performance. Also enjoy your stay but never forget your culture as you will be a brand ambassador representing India in a foreign land.
