I am a second year Masters Degree student of Calcutta University(West Bengal, India). My Special and Optional fields are International Economics and Development Management.I have no prior work experience. We here in Calcutta University are not taught the softwares relevant to our field of study. That is why I am lagging behind in terms of placement. Can you suggest me any of the world class instituitions that can provide me a thorough knowledge of these softwares(E.g TORA,SPSS,EVUS etc)which has worldwide acceptance when it comes to placements given the boom in this sector.Does London School Of Economics provide such Software trainings? Please note I am not thinking of repeating my PG(Economics) course since this is my final year. Also note that I am not talking about the General IT courses but rather I want to learn the softwares relevant to Economics or related to Economics.

All economics related softwares can be purchased from the market. As far as coaching is concerend, there are very few institues, who provides the tutorials, but genrerally these softwares are part of the course.Institutes like Siddagangen institute of technology, delhi managment college. Manipal institute of managment, Welingkar institutes of management etc. do provide training for these softwares. LSE dont' provide the training for these softwares. As far as placement is concerned it totally depends on your skills and knoweldge.
