  • I am a student of BA(H) english.. i am over with my graduation but i am very confused between MA and MBA. I have a lot of interest in literature but why i am reluctant in pursuing MA is that I dont want to get into teaching line. Are there any more options besides teaching after doing MA english ??My second confusion is MBA, it has almost become a necessity to be a mba now -a -days and moreover its a professional course unlike MA.... PLEASE give me some clear idea as to where i should go.. as far as interest is concerned I am equally interested in both the subjects.... thanks

It would be desirable to select a course of study considering your career goals.

Apart from teaching, you can work as writer, editor in publishing house or work with news agency after completion of your M.A in English.

MBA as you referred to is more of a professional course providing Managerial and administrative skills for corporate governance. If looking to work in MNC's and Corporates in positions of Authority like those of Managers and CEO's should opt for MBA.

Some of the specializations you can look for MBA considering your academics would be HR, Hotel and Hospitality, International Business etc, however you can also look for MBA in Marketing or Retail too.
