It's advisable you start your preparation for CAT at start of final year of bachelor's degree so that you will have enough time to study & practice CAT Test papers. Practice as many test papers as you can to improve your knowledge & practice maths tests more. For details: CAT.

I am working from 3-12 in night, I am planning to take CAT 2008. My concern here is maths, I have joined coaching classes but the way they teach maths basic is hard to understand. My problem is with the basics and i am trying my level best by learning vedic maths for quick calculations, learning tables as much as I can, I practice maths in my free time ( min 1:30 to 2 hrs ) a day starting from the scratch such as number system, but I am still very nervous. I have heard cat is tough to crack, I started preparing since July 20th 08, I am almost in depression cause of this, Please advice, what is the ideal way to get thru this? Maths is my area of concern, how important are the basic? What should I implement to improve this ???

Hon'ble Sir/Madam, I am a pursuing BA student (expecting final semester result) and want to prepare for CAT as well as other MBA entrances following that, i.e., MAT, XAT, SNAP, FMS, JMET, etc. To prepar for CAT, there is only 4 months left and I do not know as to how to prepare for that and also being discouraged by people as I will not be able to cope with the pressure with very limited time available. Please counsel me regarding this as well as suggest me as how I can prepare myself best to get through other MBA entrance exams, I have mentioned above. Thanks Regards,

I belong to commerce background. I have completed eMBA in finance from IMT Ghaziabad. However, I am into writing industry for last 4 years (at the moment, eLEarning as Instructional Designer). I am not satisfied with my career and not too sure where to go from here. Please help me out. I would like to mention that my age is 25 years. I have following thoughts: - Pursue CA - Prepare for CAT and start full time MBA - Pursue a language course and stay in the eLEarning industry I am most interested in pursuing full time MBA. Please mention the fee structure for the full time course from IIM. Many Thanks Shalini Birla
