Admission to MBBS programs in India is based on rank obtained in entrance test. Students with 50 % marks or above in 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology are eligible for appearing in most of the entrance. The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Schedule Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Students can take admission in MBBS programs abroad in countries like US, U.K, Australia, Singapore, Russia etc. Students with 50 % marks or above in 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology are eligible for admissions to these programs.
