i got very poor GRE score.. however i cleared GATE 08 with 93 percentile.. what are the options to take admission in foreign universities??

If you want to study in abroad for Masters then you need to clear GRE with a minimum score of 1200.GATE is for Indian universities.

A poor score in GRE certainly reduces the chance of admission to graduate courses in good universities abroad.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is examination for admission to post graduate courses in engineering in India and doesn't help anyway in getting admission to foreign universities abroad.
Students shouldn't be disheartened by the fact of low score in GRE as it is not only the measure for admission to the universities.
Most of the universities consider overall performance in your academics including score in GRE Score, IELTS/ TOEFL score, Letter of Recommendation, Statement of Purpose for admission.

I did my B.Pharm from Delhi University with a total aggregate of 68 %.My GRE score is 1160 (q-740,v-420,AWA-4.0).My TOEFL score is 107 (R-25,W-28,S-27,L-27).My Gate score was 464 with 97.24 percentile.I wish to apply to graduate programs in canada and US universities not requiring WES evaluation and with funding.Please help me select 20 such universities matching my profile.I would be really grateful.Please help.

Hello sir, As asked by me about universities according to my profile, you have mentioned Harvard University,Cambridge, MA School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Can i get computer science there? Also Harvard university ranks 12th (got info from various sites) in CS, so the criteria must be much higher, so whether i am eligible for Harvard University as you mentioned. Also what are the chances of getting admission in Texas Austin . Though my marks are not respectable but can i apply for some kind of scholarships , financial aid and assistantship in universities? What are the chances of getting such scholarships and assistantshpis? What are the various financial institution or charities that provide scholarship in India And US? While considering the applications universities look for GRE marks or percentile score? If percentile score then how they used to calculate it, according to the year, month or date on which we have given GRE. I got 1220 (Quant:750, Verbal:470), gave gre on 15th oct 2008,so what should be my percentile score? Moreover, from my experience and heard from news that GRE is now tougher then past.. for eg Compared to Aug 2008, oct 2008 gre papers and database is much more difficult especially in quant section. So whether universities consider these aspects in admission process?
