Your first course is already cancelled because in Mumbai university , time allowed to complete B.Tech degree is 7 years. if you want to do B.Tech then you have to take admission again. You can also take admission in part-time or correspondence B.Tech programs. For more information log on : Engineering Colleges for B.Tech through Distance learning.

I am currently into my 7th semester (BE Information Technology) in Mumbai University. My avg % till sem 6 is 59% and third year's avg is 63%. What are the chances of getting admission to good universities in US? I want to do MS in CS (n/w or security, or mobile technology) what are the job prospects after MS (as there seems a economic downfall of US economy at present)? And hence is it good time to go for MS in such conditions? Can you suggest me some good universities? I have applied to 4 universities through ETS on exam day acc to my marks. That is Texas, A& M college station, Texas Arlington, Texas Dallas and Temple University. What are the chances of getting admission in these universities? Also i have certain Certificates like Technical Paper presentation in Inter college tech fest, also got scholarship from Nagesh Rane trust, through IMS, in coaching and counseling of GRE. Do these types of certificates really matters?
