m planning to do ms in cs....my gre score is 1330.....awa is 3....how much role does awa play in addmission process????is that they see only quant score or both verbal and quant score for ms in cs addmission????my quant score is 750 and verbal score is 580.....in which of the following univ i may get addmission....
1.northern illinois university
2.rutgers graduate new brunswick
3.georgia institute technology

For Masters is Computer Science the Universities put more emphasis on Quantitative scores. These are the chances of admission in the following universities based on your GRE: 1. Northern Illinois university (Safe chances) 2.Rutgers graduate New Brunswick (Good Chances) 3. My GRE score is 1340 (Q-740, V-600) with AWA score as 5.0 My acads are as follows : 10th - 87%, 12th - 74%, Undergrad - 68% My ToEFL iBT score is 104 (R-27, L-30, S-20, W-27) ....As can be seen, my speaking score is on the lower side. Should I retake the ToEFL iBT or should I go ahead with the application process ? I'm planning to apply for MS in Bioinformatics for Fall 2009.....Plz help me in shortlisting universities based on my scores, and funding opportunities. Also suggest whether I should retake the ToEFL iBT . Thanks....

I wrote my GRE 3 times. Quoting in descending order 1100 (680- Quant , 420 - Verbal, AWA - 3.5 ) - Sep 2008; 1180 (650- Quant , 530 - Verbal, AWA - 4 ) - Sep 2007; 1150 (750- Quant , 400 - Verbal, AWA - 3.5 ) - Jan 2006; TOEFL ( Awaiting score, expecting > 90) My GPA would be between 3.0 - 3.2 ( 77.7% M.G University, Kottayam, Kerala). I will be having 3 years of work experience in the Software firm by next July( Java, Jsp, J2EE, Oracle, Unix). My 10th marks are - 85% ; My 12th marks are - 82.5%; what are my chances of getting into a good university with my GPA, GRE score and Work Ex. I would also like to know which of my GRE score would be considered while selecting a student? My Gre Score-1100,AWA-3 Toefl-96.Acadamic CGPA-8.869 Qualification-B.Tech Chemical..I have started the Application Process for doing MS in BioChemical Engineering.. Can u suggest me some good universities which provides good financial aid and sounds good in Academics also.
