I'm presently doing my diploma in Information Science & Technology. I wanted to know whether i can do my engineering in australia / canada after completing my diploma.... Which entrance exam will i have to write??? What is the engineering course duration abroad after the diploma??

Yes you are eligible to pursue Engineering after your diploma. Universities might waive off few courses for you because you would have a diploma but an it would still take you 3.5-4 years to complete bachelors degree.
You only need to take IELTS and the admission would depend on your academic performance.
