For admission in a MBA program in US universities and colleges you have to write GMAT and TOEFL and secure a score as per the admission requirements of respective universities & colleges. Universities & Colleges stress on a good academic background along with 2/3 years professional work experience post graduation. However one can compensate by having a higher GMAT score if work experience is not sufficient. TOEFL tests your English proficiency. GMAT TEST FEES: Test Fee: US$ 250* (Includes fee for reporting scores to 5 universities) Additional Score Report: US$ 28* per university. MBA COURSE FEES IN US UNIVERSITIES: The two years MBA program can cost anywhere between Rs.15-25 lacs on an average, if one hasn't been awarded a scholarship or a fee waiver. LIVING EXPENSES: Other than the above fees a student have to incur Rs.3-5 lacs on an average in his living, which is varied from city to city and region to region in USA. Other additional expenses are admission application fees (50-100 US$), airfare, books and stationery, conveyance expenses, incidentals etc.
