The AIEEE 2009 paper could be termed as moderate in terms of level of difficulty. Even the number of questions was reduced from 35 to 30 per section. Thus, candidates had to complete 90 questions in 180 minutes. The total marks for the combined paper was 432. 144 marks were pegged against the collective questions from each section. Marks wise, the paper could be divided like this:

  • 24 questions carrying 4 marks each with negative marking
  • 6 questions carrying 8 marks each with negative marking

AIEEE 2009 had a few surprise packages up its sleeve. For the first time, students had to deal with "Assertion & Reasoning" type of questions. Similarly, even the Physics section had grouped questions based on given paragraphs. To help you evaluate your performance in AIEEE 2009, StudyPlaces.com has arranged for a section wise analysis and solutions of AIEEE 2009 from India's leading coaching institute - Aakash Institute.
