CAT 2009 Results Delayed

CAT 2009, which was made a computer based test this year, has faced some technical glitches as a result of which around 10,000 applicants could not take the test on their scheduled time. IIMs have already announced that a second phase of CAT will be conducted on Jan 30 & 31 for those applicants who could not take the test in the initial schedule slated between Nov 28, 3009 to Dec 07, 2009.

"CAT 2009 has underwent some technical glitches as result of which the declaration of test results, which were to be released on Jan 22, 2010, will be delayed. The results are likely to be declared in the third week of February", said CAT 2009 convenor.
