Australian Catholic University (ACU National) was established on 1st January 1991, when four Catholic tertiary institutions joined hands with each other. This public university embraces students of all nationalities and cultures making it one of the most sought-after colleges for overseas students. It has a total strength of over 14,000 students including 2,500 international students coming from 85 different countries.

Australian Catholic University is an associate of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the International Federation of Catholic Universities. North Sydney Campus

North Sydney Campus dates back to 1880s when Mary MacKillop’s Sisters of St Joseph formed a teacher training school at North Sydney. Towards the end of 1990, the Catholic College of Education Sydney officially handed over responsibility for the College to the Australian Catholic University. This campus offers courses in the following study areas:
