The Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) course focuses on the overall discipline of information technology which covers the more technological and applied aspects of computing, with less emphasis on theory. Students learn about networking, communications, graphics, artificial intelligence for decision support, software design and programming and other specialized, related fields of their choice. Prior to graduation students undertake a project to develop further practical skills in a specific area of IT.

The candidates applying for admission to the course should have completed 12 years of formal school education along with TEE Discrete Mathematics. TEE Applicable Mathematics desirable. The applicants should also have a minimum TER of 72.85.
