International Student Life
Student life is a big part of the DeVry experience. Be it help with homework
or accommodation, DeVry takes care of its students. Any questions that the
students might have are answered by the international advisor, including
housing, tutoring and campus activities. Academic advising is provided during
specified hours.
DeVry offers on-campus housing at the Taylor Hall. Educational programs,
activities, and services at Taylor Hall are designed to complement student
learning and personal growth beyond the classroom. Private apartments and rooms
can be arranged by the University. The Housing Office maintains a current list
of apartments in the school's vicinity. There is also a ‘Student plan housing’,
wherein rent and all other payments might be made to DeVry itself.
The University offers a wide range of activities and clubs, including many
professional organizations, in which students can participate. Most activities
are planned by the student government or activity organization at each campus.
In addition, several curriculum-related organizations, such as computer and
electronics clubs, are offered, as are student-produced newspapers and special
interest groups in such areas as chess, martial arts and photography. A variety
of intra-mural sports and field trip activities are also available.
