Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, U.P. was established to provide
excellent infrastructural facilities to disseminate learning and knowledge of
law and legal process. The Chief Justice of India is the ex-officio Visitor of
the University and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is an Ex-Officio
Chairman of its’ General Council. The University aims to make the students and
research scholars build up a sense of responsibility to serve the society by
developing skills in advocacy, judicial, legislation and other legal services.
As part of their course the students undertake project works assigned to them
and attend the moot court and other activities regularly. A team of the
University won Gold Medal and the Best Researcher Award in Henry Dunant
International Moot Court Competition organized by ISIL, New Delhi in this
academic year while an other team participated in Manfred Lachs International
Moot Court Competition at Sydney.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (Main Campus)
Located in the South-West part of the Lucknow City, the University has 40
acres of sprawling campus in the LDA’s Kanpur Road Scheme. The Campus is a
complete township having accommodation facilities for 1500 students and over 100
number of teaching and non-teaching staff members. Distance from Amausi airport
is 3.0 kilometres and from Lucknow railway station is nearly 7 kilometres. The
university is closer to the High Court of Judicature Allahabad, Lucknow Bench,
several District Courts, Civil and Sessions Courts, Fast Track Courts and
Tribunals in the radius of ten kilometers.
Excellent infrastructural facilities such as modern library (digital and print)
with computer and internet facility, air-conditioned academic, administrative,
library and moot court blocks, separate hostels for boys and girls, campus
accommodation for the faculty and the supporting staff, in-campus utilities and
amenities are provided by the University. Campus-wide networking/Internet
facility through Wi-Fi system enables the students and faculty to have unlimited
access to the vistas of knowledge.
