The Foothill-De Anza Community College District is one of the biggest US community college districts, and every year offers credit classes for more than 1,76,000 students. Primarily, there are two colleges within the purview of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District. These are the Foothill College and De Anza College. The Foothill College campus is spread over 122 acres. It offers an array of facilities for its students, which includes Tutorial and Math Centre, Housing and Transfer Centre. Tertiary services include international student counselors, health services, as well as airport transportation services, and English language coaching for international students.
The College also offers a wide selection of university transfer majors with competitive tuition fees. The biggest attraction of this College is that even during the school session, it allows students to work up to 20 hours per week on campus. This permission is extended to 40 hours per week during vacations. Students do not have to ask for permission from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for on-campus employment.
