HIGH FLYERS AVIATION SERVICES - New Delhi, New Delhi, India

Offered at Pan Am International and Dean International campus, the fees for this programme is payable in US dollars. Designed to produce Indian pilots, this advanced professional Pilot Career program focuses on obtaining instrument, FAA private and commercial multi-engine rating, for timely and cost-effective DGCA conversion. The basic training is provided by Dean International Inc. The program bridges the gap between airline requirements and general aviation programs. After securing the ratings, the candidates can get into the advanced airline training at the Pan Am Flight Academy (PAIFA).

Using Airline Training resources, the pilots are training for real-life working environments of the various commercial airlines. The general aviation phases and FAA rating curriculum in interspersed with advanced airline training, such as:

• Cockpit Resource Management (CRM),
• Air Traffic Control (ATC),
• High Altitude Training,
• Emergency Procedures, and
• Aviation English.

The training tools match the standards of major airlines and include Full Motion Boeing 737 and 767 Simulators, ATC Tower and Enroute Simulators, Analog and Glass Cockpit Trainers and Emergency Training Facilities such as Fire Extinguishing and Ditching Pools.

The curriculum of the program includes:

• FAA Private Instrument Commercial Multi Engine Course,
• Advanced Airline Operations Course, and
• Airline Pilot Air Traffic Control Training.

The students share furnished apartments with other pilots enrolled in the course, which have fully-equipped kitchens. Daily transportation to and from the Airport is provided to the students.

Pilot Training

Applicants to advanced Pilot training programs should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with Maths and Physics as the subjects from a recognised University/board and should be medically fir, as specified by DGCA under rule 39B. Students should be at least 17.5 years of age and be able to speak, understand and write English. The selection to these courses will also depend on the performance of the candidate during interview.
