Candidates are prepared for top most management positions in this course. Extensive knowledge about the Hospitality industry is imparted through this course. During the first two years student’s skill in food and beverage management and rooms division management are sharpened, with the help of both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge through paid internship. The third year emphasizes on executive management. It provides advanced training on the experience and understanding that students have acquired in the previous two years. Candidates are required to present a comprehensive Management Project which enables them to critically analyze, examine and build up their skills by working on a case study.

After completing the Higher Diploma program, candidates can further opt for a 5 month course, the successful completion of which will lead to a BBA with a dual major in Business Management and Hotel, Restaurant and Resort Management. The HIM BBA is awarded by Northwood University, which is ranked among the America’s top schools by the publication ‘America’s Best Colleges 2004’.
