Course Description
:B.Tech (H) in Aerospace Engineering is a rigorous four year program. The curriculum for the initial years provides a sound foundation in the basic principles of Mathematics I and II, Physics, Chemistry, English for Communication, Basic Electronics, Mechanics, Engineering Drawing and Graphics, Electrical Technology, Introduction to Manufacturing Processes, and Programming and Data Structure.
Towards the middle of the course program, students are introduced to advanced subjects, such as Introduction to Aerodynamics, Aerospace Structural Analysis, Dynamics for Aerospace Engineers, Introduction to Aerospace Structures, Aerospace Structural Dynamics, Low Speed Aerodynamics, Theory of Jet Propulsion, introduction to Propulsion System, Computer Applications in Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Stability and Control, Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Flight, and High Speed Aerodynamics.
Students will also have to submit projects, take up electives, go for industrial training and sit for a viva - voce before the end of the program.
