Course Description

This four year program aims to provide a solid base in the disciplines of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. With the help of these fundamentals, students are expected to develop analytical tools related to Chemical Engineering in the first and second year- chemical kinetics, fluid mechanics and chemical thermodynamics. These tools are supposed to help the students analyse the units of chemical processes, which include bio-reactors, distillation columns, heat exchangers and chemical reactors.

On completion of the program, students have enough knowledge to deal in the basic areas of chemical engineering that includes petroleum, polymers, utilities, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and computers, along with new and emerging systems of biotechnology and electronic materials.
