Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Guwahati

The M.Tech programme in Chemical Engineering is spread over two years, and covers various core subjects as well as five Electives. In addition to these courses, there is also project work and laboratory work. Two seminars, one each year, are organized and students have to participate therein. The students have to appear for a comprehensive viva voce, and also present their Project Thesis before they are awarded the degree.
Some core subjects offered are, Advanced Fluid Dynamics, Process Dynamics and Control, Advanced Heat Transfer and Advanced Mass Transfer.
