National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University Act of the Andhra
Pradesh State Legislature. The University aims to create a new age-group of

NALSAR University of Law (Main Campus)
The NALSAR University's Campus lies on an expansive, serene and open site and
is located 28 kms away from the city. The main buildings include
Administrative Block, Academic Block, Library, Computer Centre, M.K. Nambyar
SAARC LAW Centre (which houses a State-of-the-Art Moot Court Hall and a Lecture
Hall with Video Conferencing facilities). Two buildings house the N.C. Banerjee
Centre for Intellectual Property Law Studies and Dr. S.P. Chatterjee Centre for
Environmental Law Studies The facilities that the students can avail of in the
vicinity of the campus are:
- HALLS OF RESIDENCE - The University provides three hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels
provide common dining halls and students can refresh themselves through the
indoor games, TV, two private telephone booths.
- BANK -
Students can open accounts with the Indian Bank. An Extension Counter of the
Indian Bank is open for transactions on specified days of the week from 1 p.m.
to 3 p.m.
- HEALTH CENTRE -
The University provides its own health centre with two Doctors. In case of
serious ailments, facilities are provided for admittance in Hospitals in the
twin-cities. The Hospital expenditures are however borne by the students or
their parents.
- SPORTS STADIUM -
The University's stadium is well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
Students can freshen themselves up in the University's Gymnasium, Tennis Court
and Swimming pool.
- INTERNET CENTRE - The campus is equipped with a highly advanced computer lab
facilitated with broadband internet connection. The University has a video
conferencing facility to connect with other Law Schools in India and abroad.
- FACILITIES FOR CONFERENCE AND SEMINARS -
NALSAR provides a variety of facilities for hosting conferences and seminars. It
has a full-fledged Moot-Court Hall, where international moot court competitions
like the Manfred Lachs have been held.
