NTU degrees are accredited by international professional bodies like the Institute of Electrical Engineering, I.Mech.E. The University is affiliated to the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) and the ASEAN University Network (AUN). It has collaboration with more than 300 institutions in about 45 countries with renowned universities such as CambridgeUniversity, Imperial College, University of Washington , Carnegie Mellon University, Stanford University, Indian Institute of Technology, MIT, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and Cornell University. Nanyang Technological University (NTU) (Main Campus)NTU's main Yunnan Garden campus, 200-hectare residential, lush landscaped garden campus, houses Singapore's largest on-campus residence infrastructure including 16 halls of residence. It is located in the southwestern part of Singapore. The campus is well-equipped with modern facilities for teaching and research. The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences building houses laboratories designed like those at Oxford University. The School of Art, Design and Media with the grassy-sloped roofs mimic the rolling hills of the garden campus. The campus boasts a high-tech e-learning infrastructure riding on top of an extensive wired and wireless network setup. Seminars and lectures are supported by facilities that allow multi-media presentations, video-conferencing and simultaneous communication between different lecture theatres and venues. NTU has another campus in Singapore, NTU@one-north, located right next to the Biopolis, Singapore's biomedical research hub, and the upcoming Fusionopolis, a new epicentre of info-communications and digital media.
