Diploma of Electro-technology is a para-professional qualification that prepares students for employment as an Engineering Associate/Technical Officer. It comprises competencies to develop, select, commission, maintain and diagnose faults/malfunctions of computer and network components/sub assemblies, apparatus and renewable energy systems. The Diploma has a focus on developing breadth, depth and complexity of skills to enable the individual to plan and when required initiate alternative approaches to the applications of skills or knowledge across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements.

Successful completion of this qualification provides students with the opportunity to become an engineer associate in their selected area of study.

Electronic / Electrical / Communication Engineering

The candidates applying for admission to the course should have the basic communication skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English. The candidates should also have well developed Mathematics skills.
