The Saint-Petersburg State University is renowned across the world for its medical, legal and pedagogical faculties. This state medical academy was established in 1907 by the distinguished psychiatrist academician V.M.Behterevym. It provides programs across all levels ranging from internships, Doctorate to PhD. As numerous of these courses are taught in Russian, the university offers a special pre-university or preparatory course in Russian and Natural Sciences at the level of Russian High School.

It’s architectural – historical complex is made up of 50 buildings which stretches over an area of 35 000 square meters.
