Meant for the students who want to become primary care physicians, researcher or medical specialist one of the several disciplines of medicine, this postgraduate programme offers training in all aspects of medicine, such as knowledge, practical and clinical skills and behaviour standards. The graduates of the programme develop and understanding of the role of preventive and community medicine and about public health. Some of the units of the programme are multidisciplinary in nature, such as:

• Molecular genetics,
• Neurosciences,
• Electricity with Nerve Conduction,
• Gas theories with  are Respiratory System, and
• Hydrodynamics with Cardiovascular System.

The course delivery methods include formal lectures, small group conferences and laboratory sessions along with examinations and review sessions at the end of each module for evaluation of students. The course places a great emphasis on self study, ongoing learning and development, ethics of medicinal practice, behavioural sciences and doctor-patient relationship.

Pharmacy and Medicine

Postgraduate applicants must have an MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree from an accredited Medical University and need to include their record of performance with the application. All applicants have need to undergo a medical examination, which includes AIDS test.
