This course covers basics of engineering and basic competencies in the fields of:

• Automation,

• Microcontroller and Control Engineering,

• Robotics,

• Computer Programming,

• Mechatronics Design,

• Virtual Reality

• Programmable Logic Controllers,

• Sensors,

• Electro-pneumatics,

• Computer-aided design or manufacturing,

• Vision Systems, and

• Computer Numerical Control.

In the second year, the students may choose Aerospace Engineering or one of the three Cluster Electives offering specialization in Process Automation, Process Control and Robotics.
