TMI Academy of Travel Tourism & Aviation Studies's Cabin Crew course is probably
the most exhilarating and demanding careers in the aviation industry. Every
student aspiring for an opportunity in in-flight assistance is provided with
hands-on training to deal with situation that are bound to arise when they are
30,000 feet above sea level. The course covers the following subjects-
Culture- Under this module, students learn about the cultural diversity
which further helps them to communicate efficiently in intercultural
situations.
Soft skills- Candidates are trained in questioning skills, emotional
management, stress management, time management, teamwork, body language and
emotional intelligence.
Customer Service- The prime objective of this subject is to help the
students learn about dealing with different customers including the irate
clients.
Etiquette (Social & Dining, Food & Beverages)- With the help of this
module, students will be able to understand the concept of appropriate
behavior and conduct in social and business settings. Students will learn
these concepts through a practical application of the same
Red In-flight Training- Avalon through this subject get hands-on,
in-flight experience, as a part of the training is conducted inside a real
aircraft.
In-flight Service- Students through In-flight Service module imbibe the
skills essential for effective customer service and learn to identify and
response to passengers' needs and requests through both theory and practical
training conducted in mock 'in-flight' rooms.
Fitness through Jazz Ballet- Avalon students get advantage of the
Academy’s tie-up with the Shaimak Davar Institute of Performing Arts, where
dance is used as a form of exercise to keep the body toned and fit.
Makeover Sessions- The makeover sessions help to improve the outer
appearance of the students by providing
Grooming, Skin & Hair Care and Health & Nutrition

Language Enhancement- The aim of this module is to develop and
enhance proficiency in English language and to train students to communicate
effectively under different circumstances
First Aid- Avalon students are made to understand numerous types of
injuries that could occur in-flight and how to deal with them.
In-flight Safety- This module prepares trainees on every aspect of
airline safety which includes identification and efficient use of safety
equipment, different types of emergencies that could occur aboard a flight,
preparation for a smooth takeoff and landing besides sensitizing students on
handling passengers with disabilities.
