It provides an environmental training within a mainstream sciences framework and students study current environmental problems with biologists, ecologists and environmental managers. The program produces graduates of high quality, who will be valued for their expertise in basic scientific disciplines and for their ability to apply their knowledge to cross-disciplinary areas, especially those relating to environmental issues. They will have direct application and specialization in areas such as scientific understanding of the physical and biological processes operating in the environment, the impact of human activities on the physical and biological environment, pollution of the environment and its impact on human and other organisms and remediation strategies for a polluted environment.
