The University of Sydney is Australia’s oldest university. Established in 1850, the University has come along way. In recent times, the University has been ranked amongst the top 40 universities in the world by various sources. The University had 45,182 students and 3,018 (full-time equivalent) academic staff. The University of Sydney has made for itself an international reputation for outstanding teaching, as a centre of research excellence.
