Course Description
:There are 40 seats in this bachelors course and is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. The faculty members comprise practicing clinical professionals and able academicians. The course emphasizes on practical skills and the approval by the Health Professional Council has increased its job prospects. The programme offers the opportunity to students to participate in the work placement in a clinical laboratory for hands-on experience of the real life work situations.
The students can be awarded bursaries up to £4000. The graduates may also get a chance to work with the world class researchers in the interdisciplinary field of biology and computing at the internationally renowned the Scottish Informatics Mathematics Biology & Statistics (SIMBIOS) research facility at Abertay.

Entry Requirements
:Applicants for the course must achieve CC at GCE A Level that includes at least one of the following subjects - English, Geography, History, Modern Studies or Psychology or have equivalent overseas qualifications. Mature students without formal academic qualifications may be considered individually on the basis of their experience in the relevant field and professional qualifications. All students should have English Language test score of IELTS Band score of 6.0 with no sub score under 5.0 or TOEFL paper-based score of 563, computer-based score of 223 or internet-based score of 85.
