University of Canberra (Main Campus)

The University of Canberra (known as 'UC') is located in the suburb of Bruce. UC is a single campus with student residential services, teaching and library facilities all within walking distance. There are clubs and societies, within the campus, catering to a wide range of interests, including competitive teams covering most major sports.

The University of Canberra Union Sports and Fitness Centre is more than a gymnasium. Along with classes, cardio exercise and weights, it offers tennis, squash and indoor basketball courts and sits adjacent to two sports grounds. Throughout the year many bands and theatre shows visit the campus to provide entertainment and every Wednesday is Market Day – a chance to check out colourful stalls, find a bargain and catch up with friends.

By living on-campus at the University of Canberra Village or Arscott House, students can become members of a diverse and stimulating community. There are three different modes of residence on campus. These are:

University of Canberra Village
A 26 room residence featuring private study/bedrooms with ensuite and a balcony for each room, well appointed modern shared kitchens and laundry as well as spacious communal facilities for relaxing and entertaining.
