Streatham CampusThe main campus of the University of Exeter is based in Streatham, the largest site in Exeter. The main campus in Exeter offers a stunning environment with exceptional facilities and atmosphere. The campus is one of the most beautiful in the country with lakes, parkland, woodland, and gardens to enjoy throughout the year. The students entering the first year of an undergraduate programme are assured of accommodation in the university’s catered halls and self-catered accommodation.... The Streatham Campus is home to the Northcott Theatre, Exeter’s professional repertory theatre. The Theatre hosts productions by touring companies and amateur societies, including the University’s Footlights Society. The musical life of Exeter is dynamic and varied. It includes everything from Open Mic nights in the bar to a full-size classical Symphony Orchestra. The Bill Douglas Centre for the History of Cinema and Popular Culture contains both a public museum and an academic research centre, housing one of Britain's largest public collections of books, prints, artefacts and ephemera relating to the history and prehistory of cinema.
